Trinity University x Culinary Institute of America Entrepreneurship Challenge

What happens when the classroom meets the kitchen? On Sunday, January 11, the San Antonio community is invited to witness a high-stakes collision of business strategy and culinary artistry.

For one week, thirty students from Trinity University and The Culinary Institute of America (CIA) have been locked in an intensive entrepreneurial bootcamp. Their mission: take a top-secret concept—the humble grilled cheese—and transform it into a market-ready reality in just seven days.

The Grand Finale: The journey culminates at Pearl’s Sunday Makers Market. We’ve moved the presentations out of the classroom for an open-air product launch. This isn’t just a pitch—it’s a real-world test of creativity and grit.

Your Role: We invite you to experience the results of this collaboration firsthand. Meet the teams, hear their stories, and sample their unique grilled cheese creations. The public will have a front-row seat to the competition as we determine which team has crafted the winning sandwich.

The challenge was simple: reinvent the grilled cheese. The results? Anything but ordinary.
