Join Pearl for a lively evening honoring Día de los Muertos with music, dance, art, and tradition. Experience a night filled with cultural performances, colorful ofrendas, and a grand procession celebrating life and remembrance.
Hosted by Michael Quintanilla and Erika Prosper, the event features an exciting lineup of entertainment throughout the evening:
Event Schedule
5:00–5:10 PM – Welcome Remarks with Emcees Michael Quintanilla and Erika Prosper
5:15–6:00 PM – DJ AM Project
6:05–7:00 PM – Mariachi Mexica
7:00–7:30 PM – Procession with Las Monas (giant puppets), Son Olvidados (nine drummers), and Bomba Bailar (sixteen dancers), traveling from S. Karnes/Newell to Stable Hall and back to Pearl Park
- (*Cellars driveway will be temporarily blocked during the procession)
7:45–8:00 PM – Catrín & Catrina Contest
8:05–9:00 PM – Headline Performance by Grupo Volcán

Large-Scale Public Art Installation
In partnership with the Consulado General de México en San Antonio and the Department of Tourism for the State of Guanajuato, Mexico, witness the creation of a Tapete de Aserrín — a traditional sawdust carpet crafted live by a Guanajuato artist under the Shade Structure.
